IT Desktop Support Specialist
(location: Poznań)
Responsibilities:
• Logging, prioritization and escalation of support issues and requests
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients to promote high level of customer service
• Resolution of 1st/ 2nd line support issues and requests via telephone, remote support or onsite visits
• Installation, maintenance and support of IT equipment including laptops, telecoms equipment, printers, scanners, mobile devices and workstations. Some cabling work will also be required
• Installation and configuration of MS Windows 7 , MS Office 2013 , MS Windows server 2008 , MS Windows server 2012
• Solving hardware and network issues in an operational environment
• Analysis of Network trace information.
Requirements and Qualifications”
• Good knowledge of MS Windows 7 , MS Office 2013 , MS Windows server 2008 , MS Windows server 2012
• Familiar with Database architecture such as MSQL
• Good knowledge of LAN, WAN
• Good knowledge of computer equipment its operation and configuration
• An understanding of SIP/RTP and VoIP.
• Previous experience within 1st / 2nd line Telecoms support
• ITIL certificate
• Driving license category “B”
Skills and Competencies:
• Ability to work within an international environment
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Russian and Czech language will be an advantage
• Analytical skills / diagnose problems
• Highly developed communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with different users
• Ability to meet deadlines
