HCL’s operations in Poland are a critical part of HCL’s network of 21 global service delivery centers. The network caters to various IT services needs of 1.7 million end-users in 30 languages to ensure consistent customer experience by managing 3 million mission-critical devices and millions of applications. It provides a range of IT services, including software-led solutions, infrastructure management, R&D and business process outsourcing services to Fortune 500/Global 2000 customers.
HCL Poland has a diverse workforce. Nearly 300 employees from 15 countries operate out of our two centres. Our current operations cover 17 European languages. More than 95% of our employees are university graduates. English is the official language for the organization hence all the employees are well-versed in it. Moreover, almost 65% of our employee can speak Polish, 30% Spanish and Portuguese, 20% Italian and 30% French, German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Turkish and others.
EXPLORING OPPORTUNITIES BEYOND WORK
At HCL Poland, employees get multiple opportunities to participate in activities beyond work. In keeping with our Employees First philosophy, here employees lead various initiatives outside their area of work. For instance, HCL Poland has a Social Welfare Fund which is completely managed by employees themselves. Employees decide what kind of events they wish to organize through this fund.
Various events such as summer barbeque, Xmas celebrations, carnival parties, skiing trips and other team building activities are organized by the Social Welfare Committee members. Employees also get a chance to participate in various language courses and sports events that are held periodically. These opportunities help employees in their holistic development.
