Infosys Finance Campus

One of the new initiatives within Infosys BPO Poland is Infosys Finance Campus, addressed to language dependent people with no or limited F&A background.

New joiners undergo an intensive 6 week Finance and Accounting induction training that aims to deliver properly trained employees to operations. To ensure high quality of knowledge, Campus trainings are more advanced than standard domain ones, theory is deeply explained based on real life examples, moreover for each training there is a mandatory test including theoretical questions and cases. After passing final exam, trainees are introduced to operations and can start to work as Finance Experts.

Thanks to the practical trainings in SAP (where attendees exercise duties from real operational work) trainers build participants’ awareness of how to use theoretical knowledge in their future work.

A great methodology of the Infosys Finance Campus involves dedicated group of trainers who are also coaches and mentors for the group – they are observing trainees, gathering feedback from other trainers, giving regular feedback to trainees and supporting their progress immediately when it’s needed. The Campus Leaders and Main Trainers also build strong relationships with Campus joiners to ensure their involvement in the program and to strengthen their motivation.

As a result, the Campus program guarantees a better quality of theoretical as well as practical knowledge of new employees, ensures F&A knowledge and understanding of particular processes and, thanks to a 6 week intensive program focused on their development, provides us with motivated, operationally awarded people. Currently over 100 people has successfully finished Infosys Finance Campus Program!

Infosys Finance Campus is appreciated not only within the company. It has been also recognized and described in the prestigious Responsible Business Forum report „Responsible Business in Poland 2014. Good practices.” in the category: Community involvement and development: Employment creation and skills development. The Responsible Business in Poland report is the largest review of the best Corporate Social Responsibility activities and projects in Poland conducted in accordance with the ISO 26000 standard.
