General Purpose
We are looking for candidates willing to become a Test Architect in Technology Center in Krakow, LTE department.
Main Responsibility Area
Test Architect is responsible for:
• Requirement analysis, tests strategy planning and execution of tests for new functionalities of industrial grade software
• Participation in development of specification in assigned architecture entity
• Participation in planning, reporting and reviewing of documents and architecture within the frame of specific project
• Decision making in business critical aspects, balancing technical and business benefits
• Execution of technical activities by leading and supervising a team of engineers
• Cooperation with project managers in program and resource planning activities
• Writing requirements, specifications and other guiding documentation for R&D from a technical point of view
• Cooperation with internal and external stakeholders involved in a project, coaching and leading the teams in solving complex engineering problems from various areas of technology
• Cooperation with software development engineers regarding integration and verification within the frame of the project
• Conducting technical trainings
Position Description
Position Requirements:
• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar subject
• Experienced level in system or subsystem testing
• Very good knowledge of mobile telecommunication systems such as LTE, UMTS
• Expert level in testing and test automation, analysis and design of complex commercial software products
• Experience in defining test strategies for complex functionalities
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective teamwork skills
• Innovative approach to software development and testing
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
Position Requirements
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodologies (SCRUM, TDD, CI)
• Experience in large scale SW projects
• Experience with Python programming language in test automation
• Knowledge of Robot framework
• Knowledge sharing abilities
• Knowledge of telecommunication systems
